PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This internship program combines the best of gaining work experience abroad with the wonderful experience of living in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

In all the internship opportunities you will work with local people on a variety of projects depending on your field of studies. This unique program offers exciting hands-on work opportunities, meaningful cultural immersion, and an enriching language program.

ITALY

Italy is a unitary parliamentary republic in Europe. It borders Austria, France, Switzerland and Slovenia along the Alps. Italy consist also the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea; Sicily and Sardinia. Inside the borders of Italy, there are also independent states of San Marino and the Vatican City, while Campione d’Italia is an Italian exclave in Switzerland.

The most well-known city in Italy is Rome, which is the capital of Italy, and it is also a political, historical and religious center of Western civilization. There you can see and feel the history of the Roman Empire. Italy has a very high standard of living and a high level of public education. As a democratic republic, it is one of the most developed economies with 8th biggest GDP (gross domestic product) in the world and Italy’s quality-of-life index is ranked in the world’s top ten. Nowadays Italy is a democratic republic and also one of the worlds most globalised nations.
