About us
Built in Italy. Trusted across Europe.
Internships Italy is the dedicated Italian arm of The Student Mobility Group. We deliver Erasmus+ work placements end-to-end — from your first kick-off call in Brussels, Madrid or Berlin, all the way to the host company floor in Rome, Milan or Florence.
Why an Italian entity
Erasmus+ in Italy has its own rules.
Italian mobility runs on its own logic: Istituti Tecnici and IeFP centres, the codice fiscale required for any contract, regional Camera di Commercio contacts, INPS/INAIL paperwork for trainees, and a labour market split between English-fluent multinationals in Milan and Italian-only SMEs across the rest of the country. Running it well requires an Italian team — not a remote desk.
Internships Italy handles host sourcing, accommodation, insurance, Italian workplace-language coaching, on-site coordination and Beneficiary Module-ready documentation directly inside Italy. Sending institutions get one inbox, one timeline, one invoice — and audit evidence delivered at closure.

Make Italian mobility radically operational
No marketing fluff. We pre-vet hosts on supervision capacity, inspect every accommodation against a fixed checklist, and run 24/7 on-call lines tested before each cohort lands.
Sister operations across Europe
Part of the same group as Spain Internship, Internships Germany, Internships France and Piktalent. Same playbook, country-specific teams — so a consortium can run Italy + Spain + Germany with a single coordinator.
On the ground
What an Italian operations team actually does
Host pre-vetting
Every company is screened on Camera di Commercio registration, supervisor availability, sector fit and prior Erasmus+ experience before being added to our roster.
Accommodation inspections
Apartments and shared residences in Rome, Milan, Florence and Naples are inspected against a fixed safety, hygiene and proximity checklist.
Codice fiscale & insurance
We arrange the codice fiscale where required, plus full health, civil liability and accident cover for the duration of every mobility.
Italian workplace coaching
Pre-departure language briefings and a survival-Italian workshop the first week — focused on the workplace vocabulary participants will actually use.
Monitoring visits
Mid-mobility on-site visits with the host tutor, a written progress check and a fast escalation path when something needs to change.
Beneficiary Module documentation
Learning Agreements, Europass-ready certificates, attendance records and final reports — formatted for direct upload to the Beneficiary Module.
One group, four countries, one playbook.
Internships Italy works alongside Spain Internship, Internships France, Internships Germany and Piktalent — a 50+ person team across 10+ nationalities, organising international mobility since 2009.
